Matthias Matzke 2013Rene Trok (NL)

René Trok was born on June 14, 1958. His grandfather gave him a blow, which was fl2.50 at the time. Quite a large coin and a nice amount for that time. Now that is €1.10. René's parents hoped that this amount would be a start to spend later on a music study. So happened.
René started playing the accordion at the age of six. René was 9 years old when he also started studying electronic organ. Later the Hammond organ, the keyboards and the synthesizers were added. So a lot of music.
His first performances were at family birthdays, later at the weddings of the same family. His first big gig was at age 11. Many more followed.

He played in various accordion orchestras in Amsterdam and later became conductor/arranger of an accordion orchestra himself.
René played in various duos, trios, combos and often filled in as a keyboardist for various show orchestras. For some time now, René has mainly been doing his gigs with the accordion alone.
The schnabbels took him to the most different locations and occasions. Many anecdotes can be told about this.
In the meantime also allowed to do various theater productions. Anatevka, De Jantjes, Pride Chantant, Mokumse Mokkels, Nooy's Volkstheater, Christmas in the Jordan among others.

Festivals René has never done. Stadskanaal will be the first time at the invitation of Jac Puts. This is also a challenge for René.
