"Accordionist, bandoneonist and composer born in 1992, Elsa Gourdy expresses herself in all musical genres from French song to Jazz.

She started playing the accordion at the age of 6 with Roland Pezard, the man from Bourges who identified and trained the great instrumentalists of popular music, such as Aurélien Noël. The young musician's first steps are taken to the rhythms of dance balls and village festivals where the accordion always occupies first place: at the center of the orchestra.

A rigorous apprenticeship led her to the Conservatory before meeting, at the age of 16, Frédéric Deschamps, international concert performer, her mentor. It is the time of the first international competitions, studio and television recordings.

Elsa Gourdy is not yet 20 years old and has already traveled the world, in 2012, she won 2nd prize in variety in Montrond les Bains (France), in 2015, she finished 3rd in Klingenthal (Germany), then in 2016, she won 1st prize in Naujene (Latvia). She is also a finalist of world trophies and coupe mondiale competitions in Pineto (Italy), Spoken (USA), Victoria (Canada), Samara (Russia), Martigny (Switzerland), Turku (Finland), Salzburg (Austria), Primus Ikaalinen ( Finland)….

Then also traveled the world for concerts in Mongolia in 2012, in China in 2013, in England, Portugal, Qatar in 2016…

In 2016, the concert artist chose to settle in Paris where she participated in the revival of French song and jazz but did not forget her roots and the essence of the music she dreams of being popular.

In 2021, she is a jury for the online world trophy."
