Leen de Keijzer (NL)
Leen de Keijzer is an accordionist, singer and entertainer who specializes in: jazz, gipsy, latin and party music.
He is known from the Efteling, the Brazilian International Accordion Festival the Samfona and singer Jannes.
His ultimate goal is to free the accordion from the hoem-pa-pa stigma and make it sound again in the styles that Leen is so passionate about.
He plays with famous musicians such as Mozes Rosenberg (Rosenberg Trio) and Jeroen Verberne (Chef Special and Gallowstreet) and plays with his own bands such as: Keijzer Jazz Project, Keijzer Kombo and Sfeerheren.
Born in an accordion studio in 2003, Leen has been involved with music since childhood.
Inspired by greats such as Bill Evans, Jimmy Rosenberg and Johnny Meijer, a great passion has developed for creating music that you can't sit still to.
He has had lessons from, among others, Mozes Rosenberg, Martin Limberger, Joris Bijleveld, Jeroen Verberne, Toos Endlich and the virtuoso master of accordion Dominique Paats.
